In late 1980s to mid 90s, Jeep used a vacuum actuator to shift the transfer case and corresponding front axles in and out of 2WD, and high or low 4WD. Crown Automotive 4WD front axle actuators will replace faulty vacuum switches to improve your vehicle's get-up-and-go, no matter the terrain.
