Fits LS1, LS2, or LS6 engines with a single or no sensor hub. When installing a double roller timing chain and gears in an LS engine, the oil pump is spaced out from the block for clearance. On most applications, this will create a clearance issue between the timing cover and oil pump. Test fit and grind as needed for clearance, before final assembly.
Cloyes Hex-A-Just Timing Sets
With Cloyes Hex-A-Just timing sets, infinitely adjustable cam timing is as simple as turning an Allen wrench. Consisting of SAE 1144 billet steel cam and crank sprockets and a true roller timing chain, these timing sets use a special hex-head bushing installed on your cam's dowel pin. This bushing lines up with degree marks on the cam sprocket. You can adjust timing in fractions of a degree (as much as +/-6 degrees) by loosening the cam bolts and turning the bushing with an Allen wrench. Cloyes Hex-A-Just timing sets install under your stock timing cover and can be used in align-bored blocks. Order the model designed for your vehicle and engine application.
