Palmgren Cross-Slide Vises

Palmgren cross-slide vises accurately move work in two directions along the X and Y axis. This is ideal for positioning material from one machine location to another without losing squareness or alignment. These cross-slide vises get their strength from the 30,000 psi tensile strength, fine-grain, cast iron they're made from. They are built on the same cross-slide base as Palmgren's cross-slide tables.

Additional features of Palmgren cross-slide vises include:

* Feed screws are precision-cut acme threads
* Dials are graduated in 0.001 in. increments
* Counter-balanced steel ball crank handles clear the machine table
* Easily convert from a cross-slide vise to a traditional vise by simply removing two screws and the base
