Overview

Collector Tethers Vacuum Pump Mounting Brackets

Collector Tethers vacuum pump mounting brackets are specialized supports. CNC-machined from billet aluminum, they're used in drag racing to securely mount engine vacuum pumps (like Moroso). The brackets allow 360-degree rotation for optimal plumbing, ensuring compliance with racing rules—and adding horsepower by improving ring seal. These aren't just generic brackets; they are performance parts for serious drag racers, combining safety (tethers) with functional mounting solutions (brackets) for essential engine components (vacuum pumps).

Additional details:

* These are safety devices (stainless steel cables/tethers with clamps) that secure removable header collectors to the engine block, meeting NHRA/IHRA rules for events where slip-on headers are used
* These are the actual supports for the vacuum pump, often fitting over the pump's rear housing
* 360-degree rotation: A key feature allowing racers to position the pump for best clearance and plumbing
* CNC-machined billet aluminum construction with a chrome-plated finish for durability and looks
* Includes necessary hardware (bolts, spacers) to mount to cylinder heads or motor plates
