Cometic MLS Head Gaskets

Cometic MLS head gaskets are constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel for additional strength over traditional gaskets. They contain load-controlled embossments that help conform load distribution across the sealing area, and where applicable, valve pocketing to avoid chamber intrusion. This creates an exceptional seal by requiring less clamp load and resulting in less bore distortion. The stainless-steel outer layers utilize a rubber-binder coating that features high-temperature and chemical-resistant polymers. These gaskets are available for most cylinder heads.
