Cometic Knock Sensor Seals

Cometic knock sensor seals are specialized replacement grommets designed to seal the ignition knock sensors on Gen III General Motors LS-based V8 engines. They perform the following critical roles:

* Moisture Protection: They seal the deep well in the intake valley cover where the knock sensors sit, preventing water and debris from pooling. Moisture intrusion is a leading cause of sensor failure, which can trigger check engine lights
* Acoustic Sealing: Because knock sensors act like specialized microphones to "listen" to the engine block for irregular vibrations, the seal ensures there are no vacuum leaks or erratic airflow over the sensor
