Q:

Will the valve springs that come in this kit fit on stock vortec cylinder heads?

Thank you for your question. The springs included in COMP Cams K12-243-3 will work, however you cylinder heads will require machining on the valve guide bosses and checking valve seal to valve spring retainer clearances.

I have a 75 gmc k15 with a 350. Edelbrock performer intake and 650 carb. Stock heads as far as I know. Will this kit work for me? And is there any machine work required?

Thank you for your question. COMP Cams K12-243-3 camshaft kit will fit the 1975 350 engine. everything needed is included and no machine work to the heads will be required.

I have a 1978 Chevy K5 Blazer 350 engine. After the mechanic installed this kit some valve springs break. Then i went back to the standard camshaft that i had but after that the mechanic tried again to install the new one and i had the same problema,2 valve springs broken after 2 miles of driving.
