Overview

COBB Tuning Turbo Blankets

COBB Tuning turbo blankets not only look cool under the hood of your vehicle, but they also offer multiple benefits that can be found on both sides of the blanket. Obviously, they help prevent the turbo from heat soaking neighboring components in the engine bay, but the real magic happens on the underside. With a turbo blanket installed, the turbo RPM acceleration improves, which leads to faster turbo spool and being able to achieve peak torque more quickly. This insulation also helps reduce heat-related wear, potentially improving the longevity of the turbocharger and other engine parts. Order the blanket designed for your make/model.

Key features and benefits:

* Turbo blankets are constructed with a fragmentized fire-retardant volcanic rock outer layer
* Turbo blanket insulates the turbine housing, and act as a shield, preventing the high heat from the turbo from dissipating into the engine bay and damaging sensitive components like rubber and plastic hoses, wiring, and painted surfaces
* Designed to limit the amount of heat that is transferred from your turbocharger to your engine bay, as well as keeping hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density
* By limiting the amount of transferred heat can help extend the life of underhood components, decrease intake temps, and improve the response from your car
