This bracing adds additional rigidity to the independent-rear-suspension-to-chassis mounting, as well as additional reinforcement to the subframe itself. It achieves this by tying in to the front leg of the subframe where leverage is reduced. A super heavy-duty plate locks in beneath your sway bar mounts and gets tied into the rear bushing mount.
