Baer Brakes Baer Claw Extreme+ Disc Brake Systems

Baer Brakes Baer Claw Extreme+ disc brake systems are Baer's flagship offerings, featuring their forged Monoblock calipers mounted to 2-piece rotors. The Extreme+ systems employ current state-of-the-art race technology usually only found in very expensive race calipers. Baer now brings that technology to the road-going market. The 6S line of calipers represent Baer's most aggressive road offering and are suitable for virtually any level of track use.

Optional R-Spec 6R calipers are a race version of 6S calipers; available for any Extreme+ system. The R-Spec calipers feature additional machining to the 6S calipers to save close to 2 lbs. per caliper and allow for top-loaded pads. Over 400 models are available for specific vehicle, bolt pattern, and axle applications.

Features include:

* MonoBlock calipers machined from a single piece of 2618 forged aluminum
* The only 6-piston, forged, mono-block calipers offered to the road-going/street market
* Stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise-suppression springs
* Staggered piston sizes to minimize pad wear
* Uses the common D1247 (DR11) race pad backing plate, shared by many competition calipers
* Dual seals (dust/weather and pressure) to meet D.O.T specifications
* Caliper can accept 13.5 in. to 16 in. rotors
* Machined, hand-painted logos
* Available in a variety of powdercoat finishes
* Uses correct banjo-style fittings; Baer does not use any pipe thread
* Available for front or rear
* Offers the exact same look front and rear—the only brake manufacturer that offers this!
* Rear systems incorporate a drum-in-hat parking brake
* Rear systems for C-clip axles include Baer's Verislide self-centering brackets
* Systems include everything needed for each corner, including hoses and fittings (except for general fit applications)
