American Powertrain Reverse Lockout Modules
American Powertrain reverse lockout modules are safety devices to save your transmission by preventing shifting into reverse on the freeway. These control solenoids communicate with the vehicle speed sensor in the transmission to let them know you are at zero mph so you can safely shift into reverse, rather than using a signal from the brake pedal.
