Ridetech 1961-65 Falcon Complete HQ Series Coilover Systems

Ridetech coilover suspension systems for the awesome 1961-65 Ford Falcon were built from the ground up to bring these classic rides into the 21st century. Over 60 years have passed since the first Falcon was built, and the original 155/13 tires that came on the Falcon just will not cut it in today's world. The idea starts with fitting larger tires, followed by building a tubular control arm set up to provide all the correct geometry to get them to work effectively. The steering was also completely updated to provide quick response and virtually no bump steer. Finishing off the front suspension involved fitting a new MuscleBar sway bar heavy enough to take on the most aggressive of drivers. Ridetech chose to fix the rear suspension in typical fashion for muscle cars originally equipped with leaf springs--swap in one of their 4-link systems. This bolt-on suspension system completely transforms the Falcon into a world-class handling machine, and at the same time provides an incredibly smooth ride and bind-free operation. * Systems include front and rear coilovers, front upper and lower StrongArm tubular control arms, TruTurn System, 1 1/8 in. diameter solid front sway bar (608 lbs./in. rate), and rear adjustable 4-link system with R-joints
* Designed for fitting 225/40-R18 tires (recommended backspaces of 5.00-5.25 in. front and 5.50-6.00 in. rear)
* New Ridetech spindles (compatible with 1967-69 Camaro brakes)
* Optional hub spindles offer the same geometry improvements as the pin spindle but add the performance and simplicity of late model Mustang setups and include S550 2015-23 Mustang hubs for maximum strength/consistent braking/reduced maintenance, are compatible with 2015-23 Mustang brake systems (OE and aftermarket; caliper brackets included), require minimum 17 in. wheels, fit the Ford car 5 x 4.5 in. lug pattern, and include 14mm studs
* Bump steer reduced to less than 1/16 in.
* Mini-starter may be required to clear Tru-Turn draglink adapter (available separately)
* Complete steering upgrade includes draglink, pitman arm (for use with a 1 in. steering box sector shaft; compatible Borgeson steering box upgrade available separately), idler arm and mount (compatible with manual steering) can be adapted to use Borgeson power steering system
* From 0 to over 7 degrees of caster possible
* When equipped with recommended tire size, standard ride height is 22.75 in. from ground to fender lip up front and 18.75 in. ground to the fender lip in the rear (fender lip height difference is similar to factory)
* Optional frame brace (compatible with V8 engine mounts only) may be available as a custom order (call to check) for reinforcing lower control arm mounts and subframe
* Available with standard bars (fixed lowers and single adjustable uppers) or the double adjustable bar option (adjust the length without removing the bar end)
* Triangulated 4-link does not require a panhard bar and keeps rear-end movement vertical
