Ridetech 1967-69 Camaro/Firebird TQ Air Suspension Systems

Ridetech 1967-69 Camaro/Firebird (GM F-Body) TQ air suspension systems provide ultra-low show stance with modern ride quality and handling. These packages include front and rear HQ Shockwaves, upper and lower Strongarms, tall spindles, bolt-on 4-link with double adjustable bars and front sway bar. Ridetech has spent hours collecting data to find the perfect spring rate and components for your vehicle's performance and ride quality.

Tubular upper and lower Strongarms feature injection-molded Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE reduce deflection and stiction. Ball joint angles are corrected for the tall spindles and the positions altered to allow more caster while keeping the wheel centered in the wheel opening. The additional caster settings improve high-speed stability and steering feel. Offset slugs are also available for additional caster. The lower arms feature a double sheer lower mount that has been lowered for increased suspension travel.

Additional details:

* Tall "pin" spindles will induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering. They also offer a 2 in. drop—which allows for the use of longer shocks, creating more suspension travel. Compatible with all brake kits designed to fit the stock disc brake spindle.
* Optional "hub" spindles offer the same geometry improvements as the pin spindle but add the performance and simplicity of late model Corvette hubs and brakes. Uses C5/C6/C7 Corvette hubs for maximum strength, consistent braking and reduced maintenance. (Hubs not included.) Compatible with C5/C6 Corvette brake systems, OE and aftermarket (caliper brackets included). Minimum 17 in. wheels.
* Upper Strongarms feature corrected ball joint angles for the tall spindles. The upper ball joints have been moved back to allow additional caster settings to improve high-speed stability and steering feel. Offset slugs are also available for additional caster. Injection-molded Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE reduce deflection and stiction.
* Lower Strongarms feature a double sheer lower mount for increased strength. We have also dropped the lower shock mount to increase suspension travel and moved the lower ball joint forward to increase caster settings while keeping the wheel centered in the wheel opening. Injection-molded Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE are used to reduce deflection and stiction.
* TQ Series Shockwaves feature triple adjustable shock valving and are housed in an impact forged aluminum construction
