Overview

ACDelco Tire Pressure Monitoring Replacement Sensor Valves

ACDelco tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) replacement sensor and valve kits are critical safety components that track your vehicle's tire pressure in real-time. They consist of a battery-powered sensor attached to a valve stem that sends radio frequency signals to your onboard computer. These parts alert you if your tire pressure falls dangerously low, ensuring your vehicle maintains proper handling, fuel economy, and tire life.

Key features:

* OE Precision: They're engineered to strict Original Equipment standards for a perfect fit, form, and function in GM vehicles
* Reliable Communication: Designed to operate on the exact radio frequencies your car expects, reducing the communication errors sometimes found in generic aftermarket sensors
* Long Battery Life: Built with high-quality lithium batteries designed to last up to 10 years under normal driving conditions
* When do you need them?
-- Sensor Failure: The internal microchip, antenna, or battery fails (common after 5 to 10 years)
-- Physical Damage: The exterior valve stem becomes corroded, cracked, or damaged during a routine tire change
-- Routine Rebuilds: It is highly recommended to replace the wearable parts (valve core, rubber grommet/washer, and nut) whenever you install new tires to prevent slow air leaks
