ACDelco GM Genuine Parts ignition control modules are GM recommended replacement components that undergo more stringent testing than aftermarket products. They increase the voltage in order for the spark plugs to ignite the air/fuel mixture. GM Genuine Parts ignition control modules feature electronically welded lead connections to help reduce heat stress, failure, or cold joints.
