Top Fuel and Funny Car contenders have relied on Weld Racing Alumastar PRO double beadlock wheels for many years. They've been so successful and durable in the Nitro classes that the world's first SFI 15.3 wheel has become a fundamental requirement in Pro Modified competition. The Alumastar PRO wheels feature iconic 5-spoke design often seen and used in Nitro classes. They are equipped with an 18-bolt (or 16-bolt, depending on model) forged 6061 beadlock ring system for superior clamping to prevent tire slip at low air pressures and high speeds. The 3-piece forged construction combines polished aluminum rim shells with forged 6061-T6 centers for optimal strength-to-weight performance to handle the stress and power of the 10,000+ machines.
