Notes:
Block bores are undersized to allow for piston set up. Nodular 4-bolt main caps with splayed outer bolts on 2, 3 and 4, with 2-bolt main caps on 1 and 5. These blocks use SVO style cam bearings with 2.204 in housing. See the “Required Parts” tab for block parts kit that contains coated cam bearings, brass freeze plugs, head, front cover, and bell housing dowels.

Summit Racing™ SPC Small Ford Engine Blocks are aftermarket V8 Engine Blocks made for "Street, Performance, or Competition." These brand new clean sheet designed aftermarket blocks are cast in a modern state-of-the-art German foundry on brand new molds and machined in USA on modern high-speed machining centers that can hold the tightest of tolerances. Why start your engine build with a dirty, old, worn-out production block that needs hundreds or thousands of dollars of machine work--when you can start with a new heavy-duty casting full of high-performance features. We ship these blocks mostly finished but leave the cylinder bore .005" undersize, your machine shop will have to hone them for proper size. You can rest assured that you have a great foundation for your engine build. Check out the features below!

• Cast in Germany at a Tier 1 OEM foundry from Class 35 Iron Alloy- higher strength and harder than competitors' class 30
• Machine-finished in USA on precision hi-speed machining centers- All dimensions are very accurate!
• Priority main oiling systems, Heavy Duty Main Webs, & Siamese Cylinder bores standard
• Blind head bolt holes- 7/16 in. on 8.200 & 1/2 in. on 9.500
• 4-bolt Splayed center main caps, 2 bolt front and rear caps 180,00 PSI main bolts included
• Requires use of SVO type Cam bearings 2.2041-2.205 in. all 5 Positions, Using Stepped Journals. DUR-351HP or CLE-SH2147S
