You don't need to change bearings--all you need is the basics. Richmond Gear ring and pinion installation half kits include some of the same quality parts as their larger kits, but just enough to do the job well. Most half kits include a cover gasket, crush sleeve, pinion sleeve, and shims. Don't buy more than you need--pick up Richmond half installation kits.
