Overview

Knipex Precision Wire Strippers with Shaped Blades

Knipex precision wire strippers with shaped blades are designed for form-fit stripping of both standard wire and wire with difficult-to-remove insulating materials made of PTFE, silicone, Radox, Kapton, and rubber. These insulation strippers also work well with multi-layer insulation. The tools are available in models for different wire gauge ranges.

Features of Knipex precision wire strippers with shaped blades include:

* A second pair of blades holds the remaining insulation reliably in place
* Blades are shaped precisely to the respective conductor cross-section
* Adjustable length stop for use when stripping the same length during repetitive work
* Steel body with special tool steel, oil-hardened blades
* Available with additional cable support for exact positioning of the conductor in the stripping area
* Select models for solar cables; specially adapted to multi-layered and Radox insulation
