Howards Cams offers Big Mama Rattler flat tappet camshafts for a wide range of Chevrolet and Ford applications from the 1950s and up. Rattler cams are ideal for street enthusiasts who want the classic exhaust sound—but also want true performance to go with it. They deliver Lopey idle and throttle response you expect from a performance cam. Big Mama Rattlers provide the best of both worlds: sound and performance for street or street/strip applications. (Note: For the best exhaust note, you should use a good dual exhaust system without a crossover. A crossover will add minor performance, but mellow the exhaust tone.) Best with lower gears.
