C&R Racing Ice Barrel Intercoolers are a purpose built charge air cooling solution engineered specifically for high horsepower drag racing applications where maximum cooling efficiency is needed over short, intense runs. It features C&R Racing's seamless round leading edge tube design with internal fin technology, utilizing a straight through airflow path to improve heat transfer while reducing pressure drop for optimal power delivery. Designed to run with dry ice or regular ice, the Ice Barrel incorporates a finless ice compartment, wide tube spacing, a sealed access lid, and integrated breather fitting and drain plug to maintain consistent cooling and simplify service. Its compact, lightweight barrel style construction is optimized for quarter mile passes and dyno sessions, delivering rapid intake air temperature reduction and consistent performance where every fraction of a second matters, making it an ideal cooling solution for dedicated competition vehicles.
