* Impulse
* Tensile strength and elongation
* Low temperature flexibility
* Adhesion
* Ozone resistance
* Volumetric expansion
* Dry heat resistance
* Oil resistance
* High-pressure hoses (SAE J188); maximum operating pressure of 1,500 psi, burst pressure over 6,000 psi
* Low-pressure hoses (J189); maximum operating pressure of 250 psi, burst pressure over 1,000 psi
