Summit Racing™ Pro SBC Cutter LS Firing Order Hydraulic Roller Cams

Summit Racing™ Pro SBC Cutter LS Firing Order hydraulic roller cams are retrofit camshafts designed for traditional small block Chevys, utilizing the modern 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3 LS firing order to improve torque, reduce vibrations, and enhance exhaust sound. Available in seven stages, they range from daily driver to race-ready, feature US-made billets, and usually include link-bar lifters.

Key features and benefits:

* Improved firing order: Changes the standard SBC firing order to the LS-style (1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3), which helps smooth out harmonic vibrations, improves bearing life, and allows for better fuel distribution
* Retro-fit hydraulic roller: Designed for older engines originally equipped with flat tappet cams, allowing for modern, low-friction roller technology
* Versatility: Offered in seven different stages to suit different street/strip applications, from mild towing to high-performance drag racing
* High-quality construction: Precision-ground on USA billets
* Kit inclusion: Often sold as kits that include the camshaft and matched drop-in link bar hydraulic roller lifters
* These cams are ideal for building a modern-performing, reliable street engine with a unique sound

Technical specifications:

* Operating RPM: Generally ranges from roughly 1,800 to 6,400+ rpm, depending on the stage
* Valve lift: Typically features lifts in the .500 in. - .560+ in. range, depending on rocker arm ratio (1.5 or 1.6)
* Camshaft gear: 3-bolt design
* Required components: Requires a cam button, melonized or composite distributor gear (due to the steel billet), and upgraded valve springs
