The timing cover and rear cover on GM LS Series engines don't have dowel pins to ensure correct alignment to the center line of the crankshaft. This often leads to annoying leaks at the front damper seal and rear main seal. Summit™ has the solution to leak-free LS engine builds.
Summit Racing™ Pro LS cover alignment tools locate or center the seal openings on the front or rear cover when it's installed, ensuring the seal is centered on the crankshaft, preventing leaks and allowing easier installation of the seals.
