This 621-style bellhousing is designed for use with passenger car transmissions and OEM-type manual transmission starters (TH400/350 starters don't fit) that are compatible with an 11 in. clutch and 168-tooth flywheel. Otherwise, a mini starter is recommended. The (4) mounting holes for transmission utilize a 1/2 in.-13 thread and 1.50 in. long Grade 8 bolts are recommended. Includes (6) 3/8 in.-16 x 1.25 in. long Allen Head Socket Cap Screws that provide the necessary head clearance to bolt this Bellhousing to the engine block. There are (4) 1/4 in.-20 female threaded provisions on the bottom of the Bellhousing to bolt your flywheel inspection/dust cover plate to.
