Most have additional lift so modern beehive or small diameter dual springs and valve guide cutting may be required. Note slightly higher LSA and cam advance are ground-in by design. It's highly recommended the car be run down the strip before making any changes to the cam advance. Melonized or composite distributor gear recommended.

Summit Racing Equipment® Pro Mopar cams for LA, Magnum, B and RB engines are made in the USA with advanced cam lobe designs. Durations/LSA/Advance are valve event driven for consistent power and behavior. Lift is set for compatibility with most aftermarket heads or modified factory heads. Lobe intensity is aggressive without being hard on the valvetrain. The valvetrain is specifically designed for stability at high-RPM with modern Beehive and lightweight small-diameter dual-springs. Cam and lobe quality is second to none starting with hardened bearing steel billets and grinding on a Landis 3L. The Pro Mopar hydraulic roller cams allow for faster valve opening and closing compared to flat-tappet alternatives, resulting in better airflow and higher efficiency.
