Fuel Regulator Delete for 1997-04 Jeep Wrangler and 1997-01 Jeep Cherokee. Commonly replaces factory or replacement SMP-PR318 or CWA-4798301 regulators. Stock fuel pressure is 40 lbs. and inadequate for most engine conversions. This device replaces it with non-regulated ports and adds a return port as well. It eliminates the need to tap into your fuel tank. It seals to the O.E. sending unit with an o-ring and is held with the stock regulators strap. It includes barb fittings for common 3/8 in. fuel-injected rated hose. It is tapped for 1/4 in. NPT fittings. Hose clamps and fuel filter/regulator sold separately. This also eliminates the stock restrictive plastic pickup with a hose barb. In some cases, early TJ's used a Dakota Truck module and this will not work with this device. If you have the early style, you can purchase a late fuel module and use it with this delete in the early tank.
