Billet cams require melonized or composite distributor gear and bronze-tipped fuel pump rods. LS firing order requires spark plug wire re-routing. .016 int./.018 exh. Hot lash with .005 cold a good starting point.

Summit Racing Equipment® Pro BBC Solid Roller cams with LS Firing order are made in the USA with advanced cam lobe designs. LS Firing order increases bearing life through reduced harmonics and puts the firing pair closer to the water pump for increased resistance to detonation. Durations/LSA/Advance are valve event driven for consistent power and behavior. Lift is set for compatibility with most aftermarket heads or modified factory heads. Lobe intensity with Spintron-Developed Tight-Lash designs is aggressive without being hard on the valvetrain. The valvetrain is specifically designed for stability at high-RPM and designed around modern lightweight small-diameter dual-springs for less wear and tear on the system. Cam and lobe quality is second to none, starting with hardened bearing steel billets and ground on a Landis 3L. These American-Made high-grade steel billet cams improve torque, reduce vibrations and bearing wear, and enhance combustion cooling.
