SpeedFactory Racing battery location fuel cells are specialized, passenger-side shock tower-mounted fuel cells (typically around 1.9 gallons) designed primarily for front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) race cars. They provide the following key performance features:
* Weight savings: Engineered to replace the heavier OEM fuel tanks on commonly raced chassis (like the Honda®/Acura® EG, EK, and DC)
* Safety and spill prevention: Features a black anodized billet aluminum screw-on fill cap with an integrated high-flow rollover vent valve
* Optimized plumbing: Includes centrally located fittings to clear firewall humps and mount -12 AN pre-filters, plus a female -10 AN ORB return fitting for superior performance even when fuel levels are low
* Placement: The shock tower positioning frees up engine bay space to accommodate relocated batteries
