Nomex or CarbonX underwear, when worn beneath a racing suit, dramatically improves Thermal Protection Performance (TPP) in the case of an accident involving fire. SFI 3.3 approved, CarbonX Ultimate under garments are inherently flame-resistant, and will not burn, melt, or ignite when subjected to direct flame.
