Rugged Ridge recovery kits offer a simple yet effective solution to emergency off-road situations. The kits include a tri-fold shovel and two recovery boards with an aggressive pattern and deep cleats for the maximum grip. These lightweight traction boards are made from a strong, reinforced nylon—so they're extremely durable and easy to maneuver. Just wedge the boards under the tires that are spinning to attain traction and escape the rut. You can also use the shovel to dig around and maximize the position of the recovery board. They come in a bright orange color so you can easy locate them in that mucky mud hole. No need to worry about breaking the boards, as they're rated to withstand pressures up to 20,000 lbs.
