Ron Francis Wiring side post battery bolts are replacement terminal fasteners designed to fit standard side-post battery cable ends. They secure the electrical cable terminals directly into the side-mounted threaded ports of a side-post car battery. Sold as a pair.

Material details:

* Base metal (steel): Provides the necessary high-tensile strength to tightly compress the battery cable lug against the battery terminal without shearing
* Plating (zinc): Serves as a protective sacrificial barrier to significantly resist rust and corrosion caused by moisture and harsh battery acid vapors
* In automotive electrical systems, the bolt itself is not meant to be the primary conductor. Instead, it acts as a heavy-duty clamp to press the highly conductive copper cable end firmly against the battery's lead or brass seating surface
