Powertrax retaining clips (or snap rings) are small, durable steel hardware components used to secure internal components inside Powertrax differential and traction systems, such as the No-Slip locker.
What they do:
* Secure parts: They hold specific internal gears, pins, or spacers in proper alignment inside the differential carrier
* Maintain alignment: They prevent lateral shifting of internal components during operation under heavy load or tight turns
* Application specific: Particular clips are engineered for specific axle setups, such as Dana 44 reverse or independent front suspension (IFS) applications used with Powertrax units
