Overview

Outerwears Water-Repellent Pre-Filters

Outerwears pre-filters are designed to deflect the damaging debris, which clogs air filters, compromising peak airflow and horsepower. They also extend the time between servicing intervals, reducing costs and increasing convenience for the consumer.

Outerwears water-repellant pre-filters are constructed with a proprietary polyester mesh with uniform micron openings and treated with a hydrophobic water-repellent process to enhance the efficiency of performance or exposed air filters. They filter debris down to .005 in., are UV resistant, shatterproof in freezing temperatures, and resistant to heat up to 450 degrees F. The material is also puncture resistant and has elasticity characteristics allowing the threads to return to the original position in the event the threads have been impacted or shifted. Available in colors and designs to fit a huge selection of air filter shapes and sizes, the pre-filter manufacturing process incorporates welded seams for strength, or reinforced industrial grade thread to fill needle holes, reducing potential failure points in the material. Top seams utilize specialized thread and cording (larger filter with tops) to reinforce durability of the top. Select the Outerwears pre-filter designed to cover your filter in the color you prefer.
