The backup pads specific design and materials contribute to a more consistent and smooth finish, especially for intermediate and final sanding steps. The NorGrip (hook-and-loop) face on the backup pads provide a strong, reliable connection for sandpaper discs (sold separately) and allows for quick and easy disc changes to help maximize productivity. Each pad is individually spin-balanced, reducing wobble and vibration for improved control and performance with any DA or random orbital sander.
