Engine Works Pushloc Hose Ends

Engine Works Pushloc hose ends are specialized, reusable fittings designed to create secure connections for automotive and marine fluid lines without the need for traditional metal hose clamps or complex wrenches. They're widely used for oil, fuel, coolant, and water lines. The aluminum swivel fittings are available in a variety of AN sizes and configurations (straight, 90 degree angle).

Additional hose end details:

* Design: They feature a specialized barbed nipple. When compatible Push-Lock hose (made of nitrile and reinforced with fabric braid) is pushed over the barb, the internal braid grips the fitting tighter as the line becomes pressurized
* Tool-Free Assembly: You do not need Oetiker clamps, worm-gear clamps, or specialized crimpers to secure the hose. Installation requires only a clean cut on the hose and a firm push
* Reusable: Unlike crimped hoses, these fittings can be removed and reused on new sections of hose
* Standard Connection: These fittings typically feature standard AN (Army-Navy) swivel ends that easily connect to corresponding AN adapters, carburetors, or fuel rails
* Limitations and Applications:
-- Fluid Compatibility: They are intended for applications handling oil, air, water, and hydrocarbon fuels (such as gasoline, diesel, and E85)
-- Pressure and Temperature Ranges: The fittings are typically rated to handle working pressures up to 200–250 psi and temperatures around 180 to 250 degrees F
-- Restrictions: They should never be used on high-pressure or critical applications like brake lines, power steering, or nitrous oxide
