CAIG Cleaning Solutions

CAIG Laboratories cleaning solutions address many problems that common chemicals do not. For instance, general purpose contact cleaners, degreasers, and flux removal solvents remove surface contamination, but are ineffective at removing oxidation and surface sulfides—the real cause of contact and connector degradation. These tough contaminants actually attach to, and become an integral part of, the contact metal.

The oxidation and surface sulfides result in increased service calls for covered warranty repairs that could have been prevented, translating into literally millions of dollars of lost revenue for service organizations. The only true method of eliminating oxidation and surface sulfides is by chemical action and reaction, and that's what puts CAIG Contact/Connector Treatment products in a class by themselves.

CAIG Laboratories Label and Adhesive Removers in Val-U Series sprays are fast-evaporating and will not harm most materials when used as directed. However, they can be harmful to some plastics, paints, and solvent-sensitive materials. Testing the surface in an inconspicuous area is advised. These adhesive removers are ideal for labels/stickers, adhesives, paste, tape residue, decals and more.

CAIG Val-U Series cleaning solutions are RoHS and California VOC-compliant. When you need to treat oxidation, eliminate grease and grime, or remove adhesive products, CAIG Laboratories cleaning solutions from DX Engineering can get the job done!
