Alpinestars MX youth A-5 S chest protectors are designed to provide CE Level 2 certified, lightweight, and breathable upper body impact protection for young motocross and off-road riders, guarding against roost, impacts, and crashes with a hybrid structure, ventilated padding, and ergonomic design for freedom of movement and a youth secure fit. For impact absorption, these youth chest protectors use innovative Polyhedron Hybrid Technology for the chest and viscoelastic material at the back that absorbs and dissipates energy from impacts, meeting CE Level 2 standards for enhanced safety. Available sizes: S/M and L/XL.

* Designed to shield the chest, back, and ribs from flying rocks (roost) and trail debris
* On the inner side of the outer shell, the A-5 s V2 has a perforated impact grid, which is both the second line of protection in the hybrid structure, and offers enhanced airflow to reduce heat buildup under the protector
* The dual-zone chest protector, while having a rigid central zone, has a flexible soft compound around the perimeter backed by a soft bio-foam padding which works as an adaptive system that molds to the chest
* The central zone of the chest protector directly behind highly perforated impact grid is completely open to allow for maximum ventilation
* The rib guards offer additional coverage in critical areas
* Removable viscoelastic shoulder protectors mounted on a soft-touch foam padding and are attached of the main chassis with hook and loop patches
* The elastic upper arm adjustment straps keep the shoulder protectors securely in place
* 17 percent of the protector structure consists of ventilation apertures and are aligned through both layers of the hybrid layers to ensure maximum ventilation
* Super ventilated to provide channeling of direct heat build-up away from the chest
* Viscoelastic back protector is highly adaptive, ventilated, and flexible
* YNS compatible via removable puck panel and elasticated YNS pull tabs
* V-straps on the back protector make for a more adaptive fit
* Easy-connect side straps, adjustable shoulder straps and detachable shoulder protectors provide for a customizable fit and quick closure
* Chest and back protectors can be detached from the base layer for easy washing of the jacket
