AFCO twin tube rod guide assemblies (XNBR) are rebuild components for their 13T, 35, 36, and 37 Series twin‑tube shocks. These components support the rod at the upper end of the tube and help maintain alignment, so the rod moves freely and consistently, while the sealing elements help retain hydraulic oil and exclude debris. They use XNBR (carboxylated nitrile rubber), a material known for excellent oil resistance and high abrasion resistance, making it well‑suited for dynamic, reciprocating seal applications like shock absorbers.
