Retro-fitting a transmission or adding a body lift can cause misalignment of your shifter. Advance Adapters NP231 standalone transfer case shifter brackets resolve this issue, and when used with the factory Jeep skid plate, there is no welding or cutting as with other aftermarket kits. Advanced Adapters brackets eliminate the body type mount found in the Jeep TJ. Designed smarter than the factory shifter, they get a precise fit and smoother shifts.
