The first annual DeBoss Garage International Quarantine Car Show is in the record books, and boy, was it a success. There were 1,500 entries in the IQCS, over $11,000 was raised for Doctors without Borders in their effort to assist countries with the pandemic (nice job, everyone!), and a good time was had by all.
But what you really want to know is who won. So without further ado…
• Vice Grip Garage Most Factree Award: Robert Burrows, 1968 Chevy C-10
• Regular Car Reviews Purity Award: Lucas Wenzon, 1979 Mustang 5.0L
• The Skid Factory Enginuity Award: Ian Ivey, 1973 Ford F-250
• Bad Obsession Motorsports Bracketry Award: Joris Luijten, 1953 Ford F-100
• Sarah N Tuned Tuner Taste Award: Jake Legg, 1985 Toyota Celica
• Zip Ties ‘N Bias Plies Mint Award: Joe Stiver, 1985 Chevy Dually
And who were the third place, second place, and MEGABOSS winners, you ask? You’ll have to visit DeBoss Garage and watch the awards ceremony to find out. It will be--well, an experience.
While you’re there, we also encourage you to watch the IQCS Most Bizarre Entries video. You’ll see stuff like a diesel Prius, a Honda CRV disguised as a piranha, and a Ford F-250 diesel running on beer. And that’s in the first two and a half minutes.
Congratulations to the winners of the 2020 IQCS, and a tip of the Summit Racing ball cap to Rich and Stephan at DeBoss Garage for hosting the show.
