Heavy-duty KYB MonoMax Shocks and Struts were developed for drivers wanting maximum control for their trucks, 4x4s, and SUVs on the highway, while towing, or when tackling rugged terrain.

The MonoMax shocks and struts are large bore, high-pressure monotube design with faster valve response and up to 40% more damping compared to OE twin-tube designs. Their floating piston automatically adjusts to provide greater damping when road conditions cause the shock shaft to travel faster or further. When conditions return to normal, damping is reduced for excellent ride comfort.

Moreover, the monotube design keeps the gas and oil inside the shock separate to eliminate foaming, resulting in fade-free operation and instant response. Behind the wheel, drivers will feel a noticeable increase in steering reaction, body control, and stability.
