Eliminate Frame Twist on GM A-Body and B-Body Vehicles with a Speedtech Performance USA Frame Brace Kit

If you want to turn up the wick on your classic GM A-body muscle car or Caprice/Impala, you need a frame that can handle all the horsepower, torque, and suspension upgrades needed. Speedtech Performance makes Frame Brace Kits that will do the job.

The frames on these cars are pretty weak. The frame rails are open C-channels connected together by the engine cradle, transmission crossmember, and the rear suspension crossmember. That leaves a lot of open frame rail to bend and twist, making handling feel sloppy and unpredictable.

The Speedtech Frame Brace Kit bolts to the floor in four positions to tie the body to the frame and strengthen the entire assembly.

Features include:
• Laser cut 1/8-inch thick side plates box the flimsy frame rails for a stiffer, complete rail
• CNC bent 1-1/2-inch O.D. x .156-inch-thick (A-body) or 1-1/2-inch O.D. x .109-inch-thick (B-body) wall tubing ties the front frame section to the rear
• Support braces tie directly to the rear lower trailing arm mounts to eliminate suspension arm flex
• Heavy-duty transmission crossmember is fully adjustable for most any engine/trans combo and allows the center section to be unbolted for easy transmission servicing

The kits are shipped unassembled, allowing you make slight adjustments for the perfect fit on your car. Outside of drilling four small holes, there are no modifications required to the factory floor pan. Welding skills are required for installation.
