Since its debut in 1995, Toyota’s midsize Tacoma pickup has been the go-to option for many off-road enthusiasts, including hunters and anglers, thanks to its dependable performance and efficient design. These owners rely on their trucks to haul gear, tow boats, reach remote campsites, and retrieve their harvest from challenging terrain.

Building on that reputation of toughness and versatility, Summit Racing set out to create our vision of the ultimate sportsman's truck: Project Wayfinder! We improved the Tacoma's off-road prowess and undercarriage protection, added performance upgrades, and optimized the interior and cargo-handling capability, despite the vehicle's modest proportions.
