There are conflicting descriptions on this item. I purchase one 2 years ago and it is GREAT. The material is much better that the EZUP stuff and the legs are very sturdy. I am wondering if this is the same one Summit carried then. A picture of the frame and it fully erected would be great.

These are very similar to the canopies that Summit sold before. I own a couple I bought 3 years ago (after the white legged style) and recently purchased another one. It’s almost identical to the ones I bought 3 years ago. It has a gray hammertone frame, adjustable legs to raise the height, Velcro on the corners to hold the top in place, and a wheeled bag. The top seems to be slightly thicker than my older ones and I’m guessing the frame is made from steel as it’s too heavy to be aluminum. Hopefully these hold up as long as my others have.

How easy is this to put up and take down for one person? Looking at this for track days and I’ll be a one man team this season

Thanks for your question. The Summit SUM-941062 Pop-up canopy is manageable for one person. Although, decent track days typically have an abundance of helpful hands around.

Well-made pop-up canopy

I already had one of these and was looking to add more shade area for family vacation trip. I considered getting a 10 X 20 but decided on just adding another 10 X 10 and together I have 10 X 20. Adds some flexibility. These canopies are well made and travel well versus the cheap stuff you see out there. Struts are heavier and plastic ends and clips are also solid. Highly recommend these if you are looking for a shade canopy.

I have been through several of the Walmart canopies, they either tear or puddle rain until they collapse. This one is a totally different animal! It's heavy and very well built. There's an arm in the middle that extends a you open the canopy. I don't think this one will have any issues in the rain and it was about the same price as the garbage ones. Very happy so far!

1st canopy was great…

But the second was junk. Had 1st canopy for three years , added this one. On first setup all four retaining straps ripped out, I made it work. Four setups later 3 of the Velcro pieces on the poles have come off the poles. In 3 years the quality of these units has vanished!
