Hughes Performance Xtreme Series Street Strip transmission fluid is formulated around a high-quality synthetic Type F additive package, which has a long track record of success in drag racing. Some of the key features include: * Provides positive shifts while maintaining excellent anti-wear protection to the transmission * Outstanding thermal stability, making it highly resistant to premature burning or loss of effective additives. Increased thermal stability also promotes more consistent viscosity throughout a wider range of operating temperatures. This translates into improved converter function at higher temperatures, thus resulting in improved consistency of vehicle performance, as well as improved converter operating efficiency * High rate of heat transfer, which increases cooling ability of transmission and converter * Unique high-pressure additives prevent fluid shearing, all of which promotes increased sprag and roller clutch longevity, as well as reduced wear in gear teeth, thrust washers, bushings, and bearings (this fluid will NOT contribute to sprag or roller clutch skidding or failure) * Use of super premium additives—including unique friction modifiers, high pressure additives, and anti-foaming agents--promote significantly longer fluid life as compared to virtually all other commonly available ATFs. Tractor pulling engine builders long favored Fluidampr parent company, Vibratech TVD heavy-duty viscous dampers. Fluidampr now takes it further with 35 years of experience developing dampers for professional motorsports. The result is exceptional, long -asting crankshaft vibration control for today's top Pro Pullers. In comparison, the new Fluidampr Competition Series tractor pulling performance dampers surpass the Vibratech TVD heavy-duty damper in competition use. The Fluidampr design meets SFI 18.1 safety specifications for high-rpm structural rotational integrity. Inertia mass is roughly 10 percent greater to optimize vibration control for higher torque. Additional internal components compensate for greater thrust loads. Overall, thicker steel and laser welding the housing creates a single-piece design for superior durability under high torque and horsepower. The dampers also feature a more robust, 12-bolt on 4.5 in. b.c. mounting flange. The universal fit design requires a taper lock hub with 3.25 in. pilot. These harmonic balancers are available with or without pre-drilled bolt holes.
