Made from high-silicon-moly ductile iron, these manifolds are much more durable and retain more heat than fabricated headers. The manifold kits include stainless steel V-band clamps and flanges, heater hose heat shield, and header bolts. A turbo crossover tube is used to connect the two manifolds (sold separately). These Hooker LS cast iron exhaust manifolds have been designed to hug close to the engine block so they fit into a wide variety of replacement engine swap applications. Their contoured design aims the exhaust directly at the exit port for greatly improved flow. They are cast from high silicon moly ductile iron to provide durability, leak free performance and less under the hood noise than conventional headers. The Hooker LS cast iron exhaust manifolds are recommended for strong performance on engines up to 500 horsepower and are available in plain as cast finish or with Hooker ceramic coatings for reduced engine temperatures and improved corrosion resistance. On certain Ford trucks and vans, the original equipment studs connecting the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold flange can typically rust and break, and removal can be difficult, but Dorman has an OE FIX. Their exhaust flange repair kits offer a cost-effective, faster, and much simpler way to securely reconnect the converter and flange using ordinary hand tools, and without drilling, heating, or welding. Dorman exhaust manifold flange repair kits contain a pair of sturdy stainless steel brackets designed to fit over the broken stud sections on the manifold flange, and feature an integrated threaded stud that slides through the catalytic converter mounting holes.
