BoostLine connecting rods are designed specifically for demanding turbocharged, supercharged, and big nitrous applications. The patented, 3-pocket body forged from premium 4340 steel incorporates the best features of both the H-beam (mass/weight) and I-beam (strength) designs. This provides 60 percent more bending strength compared to common H-beam rods. Each piece is heat-treated, shot-peened, and fitted with ARP-2000 cap screws (strong, malleable, and 220,000 psi rating) before final finish machining. Keep things straight with a set of BoostLine connecting rods (also available individually). Order the connecting rods in the model recommended for your specific engine size. Trick Flow GenX® 225 cathedral port cylinder heads are fully CNC-machined to significantly increase the performance of 6.0L LS2 engines. Trick Flow engineers altered the valve angles from 15° to 13.5° to decrease valve shrouding, increase mid-lift airflow, and improve rocker arm-to-valve cover clearance. Top-of-the-line CNC Competition Ported runners have a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum flow and performance. The spark plugs were relocated in the CNC-profiled combustion chambers to enhance mid-lift airflow and increase the rigidity of the casting for extreme horsepower applications. Material was added at the rocker arm mounting points to increase high-rpm valvetrain stability. Trick Flow GenX 225 cylinder heads are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747 for 1997-present GM vehicles with 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L engines. These AFM (active fuel management) or MDS (multi-displacement system) delete combos include a variety of components to help complete the changeover. Trick Flow GenX® 220 cylinder heads for GM 6.0L LS2 engines are a great value in GM LS performance. The cathedral port heads incorporate features of Trick Flow's fully CNC-ported LS heads in a more affordable "Fast As Cast®" version that flows nearly as much air as Trick Flow's competition ported heads. The special Fast As Cast runner design duplicates the port shape and profile of fully CNC-ported runners, resulting in near-CNC-ported performance for the same price as regular cast cylinder heads. LS Classic Series big block Chevy style valve covers are designed to give the appearance of a big block Chevy while fitting the LS family of engines. Like all our cast aluminum valve covers, they accept the OEM rubber seals (not included) and bolt directly to the cylinder head. With no extra adapter required, there is less chance of leakage and the covers are only 2 in. tall. The valve covers include a billet aluminum filler cap on one cover for easy oil filling, and come with all the necessary mounting hardware, including factory look load spreaders. They also have a ported PCV fitting/vacuum port and oil splash baffle in one cover. The castings are designed to be thick enough for drilling and tapping for fittings. Covers are available with a natural cast finish, chrome plated, or painted Chevrolet orange and include vintage Chevrolet Tonawanda factory stickers.
