The basic requirements for a properly running engine are fuel, air, compression, and spark. A weak spark from your ignition system can result in misfiring under high-load driving, and spark blow-out under high boost, which is bad for performance. Mishimoto ignition coils are high-quality replacements that can bring your vehicle up to Stage 0 before moving on to horsepower adding modifications. They are designed and tested to meet or exceed OEM performance standards and are available as a single coil or in sets. Once installed with a set of new spark plugs, you can expect a refreshed ignition system with improved engine startup, a smoother idle, and restored performance. The primary frame of Mishimoto coils is constructed from extremely robust phenolic resin, ensuring optimal longevity in high-temperature environments, while a precision lower rubber boot provides a barrier against moisture entry into the plug well, eliminating chances for spark plug contamination. Each coil is pre-lubricated with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion and ensure an optimal connection between the spark plug and coil.
