Commonly referred to as “squarebody” trucks, third-generation (1973-87) GMC K-Series pickup trucks enjoyed the longest production run of any of the GMC pickup trucks. With over a decade of incremental evolutions, K15 iteration provided better fuel efficiency, safety, utility, and performance over the previous year. As a final footnote, to prepare for the introduction of fuel injection and a new body style, GMC changed the familiar K-Series designations to the V-Series. The third-gen played a big role in GMC pickup truck history, so keep yours in prime condition with these upgrade and repair parts.
